The referee showed Benigno Walme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 14 minutes into the game, Gavino Guifre recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edgard Weterio. Gavino Guifre showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gavino Guifre got free with Edgard Weterio in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bengals's Edgard Weterio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Bengals from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Bengals's zone, Generoso Balasi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Weterio came out of the goal and Generoso Balasi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgard Weterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Ranolfo in the 24th minute of play. Bengals's Edgard Weterio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Bengals from getting a goal against them. Edgard Weterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Ariando in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Cuervos Galácticos's Gavino Guifre ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgard Weterio. Edgard Weterio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After some careless play in the Bengals defense, Gavino Guifre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgard Weterio. The Bengals fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgard Weterio should have stopped the shot. Edgard Weterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Donzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Edgard Weterio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Ranolfo in the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of Cuervos Galácticos booed when Bengals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Merexildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Weterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Ranolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulino Mero made a kick off. Teofilo Esdras was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Paulino Mero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgard Weterio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Timoteo Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Genaro Donzel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgard Weterio was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Edgard Weterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Balasi in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Cuervos Galácticos's Hugo Lucila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgard Weterio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. The supporters of Cuervos Galácticos booed when Bengals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Isauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 10-1 when Hugo Lucila sped through Bengals's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgard Weterio. Gavino Guifre took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgard Weterio. Edgard Weterio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-1. In the 91st minute, Hugo Lucila made a precise shot to the right of Edgard Weterio. Bengals's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-1. 94 minutes into the match, Bengals's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Ariando came free, but Edgard Weterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
