Rosa's Aldo Piarres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Senio in the 15th minute of play. Aldo Piarres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Roldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Eder in the 32nd minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Karl-Michael Öman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Michael Öman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mai Xiang Wei in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Boca Juniors's Manuel Senio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aldo Piarres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After 57 played minutes Rosa got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Vincent. Rosa's Aldo Piarres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Rosa from getting a goal against them. Karl-Michael Öman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Eder in the 64th minute of the match. Manuel Senio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Generoso Harkaitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Piarres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Karl-Michael Öman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aldo Piarres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 李俊桦, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aldo Piarres made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when 李俊桦 sent off a good shot on target. Aldo Piarres was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Manuel Senio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Manuel Senio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-6. When the final whistle sounded Boca Juniors left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rosa.
