After 19 played minutes Caliope Coro got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Delfino. The supporters of Caliope Coro booed when Mansilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Ipar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raul Crescencio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristian Patrido. Mansilla's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mansilla's Lisandro Gaxan got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute Gerardo Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Chago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Gaxan in the 27th minute of play forced Caliope Coro's goalkeeper Zeledon Chago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Eustaquio Gaizkine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Erubiel Fonso came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Mansilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Fonso couldn't finish the play. Gerardo Vidal might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Chago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerardo Vidal ran back to his position shaking his head. After 39 played minutes Mansilla got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Vidal. After 44 minutes of play Mansilla's Lisandro Gaxan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Lisandro Gaxan kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Gogo Belasko put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cristian Patrido. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gogo Belasko was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Caliope Coro getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Raul Crescencio hit a great ball. When Caliope Coro's Gogo Belasko in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mansilla's goalkeeper Cristian Patrido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gogo Belasko might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian Patrido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gogo Belasko ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 73rd match minute, Caliope Coro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Macias to maneuver through the defense. Isaias Cutberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mansilla booed when Caliope Coro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Macias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caliope Coro's goalkeeper Zeledon Chago, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pablo Errolan kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mansilla's zone, Claudio Gizon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Patrido came out of the goal and Claudio Gizon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, Caliope Coro's goalkeeper Zeledon Chago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Vidal. The supporters of Mansilla booed when Caliope Coro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Macias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Chago having to interfere. During the 96th minute of the match Ignacio Macias completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ignacio Macias a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Caliope Coro getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Ignacio Macias hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Caliope Coro fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mansilla had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
