The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matias Garci didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eulalio Sidro went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Banca los Trapos's zone, Ezequiel Truylos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Garci came out of the goal and Ezequiel Truylos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 8 played minutes Libres Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Truylos. If Roan Sand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Constancio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Marcelino Ramone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Ezequiel Truylos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Libres Futbol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With his leg Marcelino Ramone managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Banca los Trapos's Eduardo Blasco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Eulalio Sidro put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Matias Garci. In the 25th match minute, Banca los Trapos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Herensuge to maneuver through the defense. Gualterio Koldo's late challenge caught a Libres Futbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gualterio Koldo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Gualterio Koldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute Ezequiel Truylos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Garci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Truylos in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Garci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matias Garci came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Libres Futbol's Ezequiel Truylos. But to his dismay, Ezequiel Truylos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When Placido Udalaitz fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Banca los Trapos's protests and gave Placido Udalaitz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Placido Udalaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute of the match Honorio Pietro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matias Garci skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Ezequiel Truylos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matias Garci was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Eduardo Blasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Ramone having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Sidro got free with Matias Garci in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute, Herminio Lorenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eulalio Sidro came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Libres Futbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Sidro couldn't finish the play. Libres Futbol's Marcelino Ramone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Blasco in the 56th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Banca los Trapos got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Herensuge. Eulalio Sidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eulalio Sidro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Garci having to interfere. A collision led to Libres Futbol getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Honorio Pietro hit a great ball. Ezequiel Truylos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Libres Futbol's Jeremias Lehior was substituted for Albino Tonete. In the 86th minute, Eulalio Sidro made a precise shot to the right of Matias Garci. Banca los Trapos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Matias Garci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Austin in the 89th minute of play. After 92 minutes Banca los Trapos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serafin Banegas who took care of the corner kick. Eulalio Sidro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matias Garci having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Laureano Austin took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Matias Garci to make any attempt to save it.
