The shot was stopped by Tadeo Pere but with some difficulty. Claudio Iratzeder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cecilio Oriche having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernabe Urbes during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Bernabe Urbes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Claudio Iratzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Bonadona's late challenge caught a Falencia CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Bonadona helped the player get up and apologised. Cecilio Oriche came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Falencia CF's Claudio Iratzeder. But to his dismay, Claudio Iratzeder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 38 minutes into the game, Haedo Footbal Club's Narciso Txaran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tadeo Pere made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Haedo Footbal Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Claudio Iratzeder scored to the left of an out of position Cecilio Oriche, making the score, 1-2. Cecilio Oriche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Aurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haedo Footbal Club's Cecilio Oriche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Haedo Footbal Club from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Claudio Iratzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Niva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cecilio Oriche. Ezequiel Niva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After having played for 66 minutes, Gustavo Asier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haedo Footbal Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Asier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Asier in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeo Pere saved Falencia CF from getting behind. Cecilio Oriche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Aurre in the 69th minute. Igor Bonadona lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Haedo Footbal Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! Haedo Footbal Club:s Cecilio Oriche showed great skill when he stopped Ezequiel Niva:s penalty. The supporters of Haedo Footbal Club booed when Falencia CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Iratzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Haedo Footbal Club were awarded a corner. Fabian Pryputnicki went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in Haedo Footbal Club's zone, Baldomero Urre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Oriche came out of the goal and Baldomero Urre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Asier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeo Pere was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Leandro Cloyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Tadeo Pere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gustavo Asier, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 94 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tadeo Pere was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Adolfo Aurre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cecilio Oriche. Haedo Footbal Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Aurre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. The Falencia CF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
