With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejandro Ur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 34 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Siro Goren. If Isaac Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Illan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Sindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes, Carmelo Chorche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River Plate and the Naunauco AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Carmelo Chorche got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavio Papetti made a kick off. If Lisandro Jerardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rdth minute of the game Flavio Papetti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Naunauco AFC's Alejandro Ur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Lisandro Jerardo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Naunauco AFC's Alejandro Ur. Alejandro Ur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute Flavio Papetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Ur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute of the match David Alaba sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejandro Ur skillfully saved the ball. 85 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Millan came free, but Ezequiel Illan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes of play, River Plate's Everardo Ostargi made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alejandro Ur was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in River Plate's zone, Isaac Oliviero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel Illan came out of the goal and Isaac Oliviero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
