La Toscana's Tiburcio Remigio got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerardo Sedeni was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Candido Nofre capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Candido Nofre really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 33 minutes into the game, Cirilo Jerrold was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huerta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Toscana the free kick. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristobal Eusko to strike the kick off in the second half.
