Rodriguinho do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When the match had been going on for 40 minutes Marco Ilixo shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Casimiro Lain when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Casimiro Lain made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Melchor Ferdinand sent off a good shot on target. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Melchor Ferdinand was the one to do the kick off. The referee ignored La gloriosa número 6's protests and gave Ruben Gaufred a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to La gloriosa número 6 getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ruben Gaufred hit a great ball. When German Faro fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aldosivi FC's protests and gave German Faro a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 62 minutes, Nicanor Salvadore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La gloriosa número 6's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Salvadore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Cayetano Nazario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aldosivi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La gloriosa número 6 the free kick. A collision led to Aldosivi FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. During this time La gloriosa número 6's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Marco Ilixo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Casimiro Lain quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nicanor Salvadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Salvadore in the 74th minute of play forced Aldosivi FC's goalkeeper Casimiro Lain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Frutos charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aldosivi FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
