Crişan Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iosif Bratu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelito Barovero came out of the goal and Cenan Savlet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cenan Savlet got free with Marcelito Barovero in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Iosif Bratu made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Duda Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Crişan Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of A.C.SHARKS booed when Ciclista FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cenan Savlet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Alvaro Manuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A.C.SHARKS made a substitution. Benito Peruxu replaced Iosif Bratu. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
