The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tomás Conrao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Uzuri, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Tomás Conrao came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Team Heretics's Joaquin Uzuri. But to his dismay, Joaquin Uzuri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tomás Conrao came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Team Heretics's Saverio Maraman. But to his dismay, Saverio Maraman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ernesto Lore's late challenge caught a IACC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernesto Lore helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Team Heretics! A collision led to IACC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Fernan Llorenc hit a great ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Eloy Oliveiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IACC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eloy Oliveiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ariel Chucho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Saturnino Mannuel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 37th minute of the match Ernesto Lore shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Conrao showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 40 minutes of play, Team Heretics's Saverio Maraman made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Conrao was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Team Heretics's Justino Cordara got a free kick in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Team Heretics getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Celedonio Guilabertus hit a great ball. In the 46th match minute, Team Heretics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Cordara to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Team Heretics were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eloy Oliveiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Saverio Maraman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Tomás Conrao made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in IACC's zone, Joaquin Uzuri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Conrao came out of the goal and Joaquin Uzuri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, IACC's Tomás Conrao got control of the ball when Saverio Maraman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Xabel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, one of Team Heretics:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Team Heretics. The referee gave IACC a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Florentino Chico, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Team Heretics's Saturnino Mannuel. 3-3. Saturnino Mannuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Oliveiro in the 71st minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, IACC's goalkeeper Tomás Conrao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saverio Maraman. In the 82nd minute, Justino Cordara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florentino Chico took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saturnino Mannuel. Team Heretics's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Saverio Maraman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Team Heretics's Saturnino Mannuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Chucho in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Oliveiro in the 90th minute of play forced Team Heretics's goalkeeper Saturnino Mannuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match IACC got a corner. Team Heretics's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florentino Chico ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on IACC's corner Florentino Chico fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Saturnino Mannuel quite easily take care of the ball. If Ariel Chucho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. IACC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
