The audience was convinced that Pancho Madaleno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Gonsalvo was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Carlo Ancelotti's Tomás Gonsalvo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Guillelmo in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Torbellino's Bombai Rosada got a free kick in the 25th minute. Aristides Jakue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Gentza in the 27th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ivan Roldan made the kick off in the second half. Aristides Jakue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Etor in the 51st minute. Carlo Ancelotti's Dante Gentza pulled a muscle in his leg after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Bombai Rosada fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Torbellino's protests and gave Bombai Rosada a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Carlo Ancelotti booed when Torbellino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bombai Rosada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Galo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomás Gonsalvo. Carlo Ancelotti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Torbellino's Ciriaco Crescencio got a free kick in the 59th minute.
