Eulalio Hermelando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Estefan having to interfere. Ernesto Guillelmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Urritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Gaur in the 6th minute of play forced Mamboreta FC's goalkeeper Guaberto Estefan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Udaquiola booed when Mamboreta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Urritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Zuriel Jacobson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 10th minute, Manuel Mederi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mamboreta FC's Guaberto Estefan didn't even have to move. Andres Gitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Estefan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Israel Mederi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mamboreta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Israel Mederi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Guillelmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Gabriel-Omar Batistuta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Guillelmo. Udaquiola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel-Omar Batistuta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ernesto Guillelmo made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Gabriel-Omar Batistuta sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Udaquiola's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raul Solustiano was slow to take the kick. During this time Mamboreta FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Gabriel-Omar Batistuta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ernesto Guillelmo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 23rd minute of the match Mamboreta FC got a corner. Udaquiola's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raul Solustiano ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 25 minutes, Gabriel-Omar Batistuta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mamboreta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel-Omar Batistuta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Mamboreta FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Raul Solustiano hit a great ball. Guaberto Estefan came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Udaquiola's Andres Gitano. But to his dismay, Andres Gitano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Ernesto Guillelmo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Manuel Mederi kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Mamboreta FC's Gabriel-Omar Batistuta in 38 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ernesto Guillelmo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Mamboreta FC's Israel Mederi got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Mederi hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Cosme Eguen kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel-Omar Batistuta to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Udaquiola got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Canor. Ernesto Guillelmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Mederi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Andres Gitano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Guaberto Estefan made a huge save. In the 64th minute, Gabriel-Omar Batistuta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mamboreta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres Gitano got free with Guaberto Estefan in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernesto Guillelmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel-Omar Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Israel Mederi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ernesto Guillelmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feo Loramendi scored 4-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Guillelmo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guaberto Estefan made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Teodoro Guillen sent off a good shot on target. Mamboreta FC's Javier Pinola got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Mamboreta FC booed when Udaquiola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Guillen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 played minutes Udaquiola got a freekick which was hit by Andres Gitano. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nunez Canor during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Udaquiola getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Nunez Canor hit a great ball. Mamboreta FC's Guaberto Estefan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Guillen in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute Silvestre Urritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Guillelmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mamboreta FC's Guaberto Estefan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Mamboreta FC from getting a goal against them. Mamboreta FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Udaquiola for a fine match.
