If Cosme Cordarrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 played minutes Lomitas got a freekick which was hit by Donato Claus. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Cosme Cordarrel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lomitas's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosme Cordarrel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Pagomari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ignacio Mikolas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Olimpo booed when Lomitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Reynardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Lomitas defense, Serafin Viator kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascual Ortzi. The Lomitas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascual Ortzi should have stopped the shot. Donato Claus hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Cosme Cordarrel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lomitas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 45th minute, Mateo Ixidor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lomitas's Mateo Ixidor got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosme Cordarrel was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Ixidor in the 55th minute of play forced Olimpo's goalkeeper Prospero Pagomari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Ixidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Pagomari having to interfere. Cosme Cordarrel kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Pascual Ortzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Ascencio in the 72nd minute of the match. Israel Jax hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Mateo Ixidor in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Prospero Pagomari, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Mateo Ixidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mateo Ixidor came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Lomitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Ixidor couldn't finish the play. Ubaldo Truylos might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pascual Ortzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ubaldo Truylos ran back to his position shaking his head. Cosme Cordarrel hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. During the 95th minute of the match Donato Claus completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Donato Claus a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Lomitas getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Donato Claus hit a great ball. Lomitas's Pascual Ortzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Ordono in the 96th minute of play. Lomitas were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Olimpo's much stronger midfield.
