Andres Nataniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Pagomari having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Olimpo's zone, Eustaquio Matai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Pagomari came out of the goal and Eustaquio Matai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseo Osmundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Pagomari having to interfere. Domingo Senen kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Horacio Maidana was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Olimpo's Prospero Pagomari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Olimpo from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Olimpo's Serafin Viator got a free kick in the 27th minute. Prospero Pagomari was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Eliseo Osmundo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliseo Osmundo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The referee ignored Concha y pitos's protests and gave Eustaquio Matai a yellow card for diving instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olimpo's Prospero Pagomari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Osmundo in the 72nd minute of play. Prospero Pagomari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Osmundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafin Viator struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Flavio Heriberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olimpo. Eustaquio Matai struck a weak shot in the 77th minute.
