Cerveteque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomiro Koldobika was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Anyelo MDP's Angelino Manni got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Zeledon Furman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Anyelo MDP could leave the field as winners, despite Cerveteque having more of the ball for most of the match.
