If Jeronimo Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeronimo Shepherd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Bertin having to interfere. Atreucó AFC's Danilo Bertin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Atreucó AFC from getting a goal against them. Victorio Tanio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danilo Bertin having to make a save. Eugenio Crescencio's late challenge caught a Pepe Sand 9 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio Crescencio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Eugenio Crescencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorio Tanio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

During the 54th minute of the match Eugenio Crescencio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eugenio Crescencio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Eugenio Crescencio hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The corner ended in Everardo Elorri almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atreucó AFC's Danilo Bertin did a great save. If Victor Giro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jeronimo Shepherd got free in front of the goal in the 82nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Danilo Bertin was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Atreucó AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Shepherd came free, but Danilo Bertin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeronimo Shepherd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danilo Bertin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play.
