He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Plata F.C reached it. In the 5thth minute of the game Armand Simbara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guascan's Albano Perico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fausto Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvestre Cordeara in the 7th minute. Ariel Rios hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Albano Perico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armand Simbara, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Generoso Tajo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Albano Perico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norbert Sienkiewicz's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 17th minute, Armand Simbara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albano Perico was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Albano Perico came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by La Plata F.C's Elvio Elivareo. But to his dismay, Elvio Elivareo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Silvestre Cordeara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Fausto Marques when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Plata F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciriaco Fanuco was slow to take the kick. During this time Guascan's players had a chance to rest. After some careless play in the Guascan defense, Prudencio Amaya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albano Perico. The Guascan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albano Perico should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Guascan's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Elivareo came free, but Albano Perico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Elvio Elivareo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albano Perico. Guascan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elvio Elivareo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Albano Perico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Sienkiewicz in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Guascan's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Elivareo came free, but Albano Perico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Norbert Sienkiewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albano Perico was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Ariel Rios hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Norbert Sienkiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Plata F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norbert Sienkiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Norbert Sienkiewicz made a precise shot to the right of Albano Perico. Guascan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

52 minutes into the match, Guascan's goalkeeper Albano Perico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norbert Sienkiewicz. Guascan's Albano Perico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Guascan from getting a goal against them. With his leg Albano Perico managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when La Plata F.C's Elvio Elivareo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 74th play minute Norbert Sienkiewicz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Albano Perico. 0-7. In the 78th minute, Norbert Sienkiewicz made a precise shot to the right of Albano Perico. Guascan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Sienkiewicz in the 82nd minute of play forced Guascan's goalkeeper Albano Perico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guascan's Albano Perico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Beat in the 83rd minute of play. Silvestre Cordeara kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. With his leg Albano Perico managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when La Plata F.C's Norbert Sienkiewicz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haroldo Beat in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albano Perico saved Guascan from getting behind. Fausto Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Cordeara, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Cordeara in the 94th minute of play forced La Plata F.C's goalkeeper Fausto Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Plata F.C played a much better game than Guascan and deserved their victory. The Guascan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
