Paolo Cannavaro's late challenge caught a Bompland AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paolo Cannavaro helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in AC Milan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! Eustaquio Jobo went to the wrong direction when Igor Saribiarte was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severino Boniel to make the kick off. Bompland AFC's Ulises Elixio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Suárez in the 52nd minute of play. Daniel Oalo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Bompland AFC got a freekick which was hit by Placido Bemabe. Tiburcio Formerio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ulises Elixio. Bompland AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eustaquio Jobo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jairo Errando in the 67th minute. Ulises Elixio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Suárez in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Rene Ferman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulises Elixio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Baggio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Santiago Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulises Elixio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3.
