Club Atlético Talleres's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 13 minutes in the game Lázaro Iigo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Teofilo Aztore. Wasabi FC's Sonny Safer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Patxi in the 16th minute of play. Sonny Safer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Txordon in the 17th minute of the match. Gavino Umbruso spun around in front of the goal 19 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Wasabi FC's goal. Sonny Safer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Patxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Wasabi FC's Teofilo Aztore challenged an opponent after 22 minutes. The hit was so bad that he suffered a foot injury. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliciano Oinaz during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Wasabi FC got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Romero. In the 26thth minute of the game Romeo Patxi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wasabi FC's Sonny Safer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sonny Safer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Gau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Club Atlético Talleres's Domingos Victoro got control of the ball when Javier Salvatore tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Talleres's goalkeeper Domingos Victoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Javier Salvatore. Club Atlético Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Patxi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Romeo Patxi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sonny Safer. Wasabi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romeo Patxi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 47th minute, Lázaro Iigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Sonny Safer made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Romeo Patxi sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the game, Gavino Umbruso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Sonny Safer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th minute, Gavino Umbruso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sonny Safer. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 70th minute Gavino Umbruso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Safer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeo Patxi hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Lázaro Iigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes Wasabi FC got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Romero. 76 minutes into the match, Gavino Umbruso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sonny Safer. Romeo Patxi scored 1-6 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sonny Safer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Wasabi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Umbruso came free, but Sonny Safer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Wasabi FC's goalkeeper Sonny Safer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Txordon. When the match was over Club Atlético Talleres could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wasabi FC throughout the match.
