Wasabi FC's Sonny Safer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Guillen in the 5th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Camilo Guillen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sonny Safer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th minute, Camilo Guillen made a precise shot to the right of Sonny Safer. Wasabi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartolo Matteo during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Clementes Hockeyroos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Matteo to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Bartolo Matteo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Sonny Safer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sonny Safer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Rudolfo in the 26th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Clementes Hockeyroos's zone, Teofilo Aztore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Raebert came out of the goal and Teofilo Aztore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sonny Safer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Guillen, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Sonny Safer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Rudolfo in the 33rd minute of play. Sonny Safer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lázaro Manny went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wasabi FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Teofilo Aztore's late challenge caught a Clementes Hockeyroos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teofilo Aztore helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Clementes Hockeyroos booed when Wasabi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Aztore didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Matteo in the 45th minute of play forced Wasabi FC's goalkeeper Sonny Safer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Camilo Guillen was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Guillen got free with Sonny Safer in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Clementes Hockeyroos booed when Wasabi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Iigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute of the match, Camilo Guillen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sonny Safer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Wasabi FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Lázaro Iigo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Wasabi FC's Agustin Baristo got a free kick in the 70th minute. Wasabi FC's Sonny Safer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Manny in the 72nd minute of play. Teofilo Aztore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Roberto Raebert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Salvatore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Salvatore in the 77th minute of play forced Clementes Hockeyroos's goalkeeper Roberto Raebert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes Clementes Hockeyroos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sonny Wind who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Sonny Wind got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roberto Raebert quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sonny Safer was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Camilo Guillen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Camilo Guillen really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Jimeno Fidele's late challenge caught a Wasabi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimeno Fidele helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Jimeno Fidele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Raebert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Wind, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Sonny Safer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Sarracino in the 91st minute. Roberto Raebert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Aztore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Clementes Hockeyroos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wasabi FC throughout the match.
