Wolfhard A.C.'s Hilario Fero got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Guillen's late challenge caught a Wolfhard A.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Guillen helped the player get up and apologised. When Isaac Guerau fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wolfhard A.C.'s protests and gave Isaac Guerau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Isaac Guerau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Fero in the 38th minute of play forced Clementes Hockeyroos's goalkeeper Roberto Raebert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hilario Fero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hilario Fero to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Camilo Guillen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Cosme Martinez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Camilo Guillen hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Antonio Sarracino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Cosme Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wolfhard A.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Clementes Hockeyroos booed when Wolfhard A.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Castel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Bartolo Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosme Martinez came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Clementes Hockeyroos's Camilo Guillen. But to his dismay, Camilo Guillen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When the final whistle sounded Wolfhard A.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Clementes Hockeyroos.
