Justino Txomin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roque Ayala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Roque Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Hustaz in the 10th minute of the match. Roque Ayala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, CHORIPANEROS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Pereyra came free, but Roque Ayala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roque Ayala showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Matias Pereyra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in CHORIPANEROS FC's zone, Eduardo Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Ayala came out of the goal and Eduardo Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roque Ayala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Hustaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the CHORIPANEROS FC defense, Eduardo Rodrigues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roque Ayala. The CHORIPANEROS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roque Ayala should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 58 played minutes CHORIPANEROS FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Remicio. After 59 played minutes, CENTRAL SANTA CRUZ's Eduardo Rodrigues shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roque Ayala came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CENTRAL SANTA CRUZ reached it. Gaudencio Maura hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With a little luck, CHORIPANEROS FC's Roque Ayala got control of the ball when Rolando Hustaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 66 minutes, Natalio Goito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CENTRAL SANTA CRUZ and the CHORIPANEROS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. CHORIPANEROS FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Rolando Hustaz scored to the left of an out of position Roque Ayala, making the score, 0-3. The CHORIPANEROS FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CENTRAL SANTA CRUZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
