Jonas Feo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Feliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Linterna Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Feliz came free, but Jonas Feo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Linterna Verde FC's zone, Narciso Feliz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Feo came out of the goal and Narciso Feliz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AC Lalus's Leopoldo Ederono proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save AC Lalus from getting a goal against them. When Anier Urdin fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linterna Verde FC's protests and gave Anier Urdin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AC Lalus booed when Linterna Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Urdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Narciso Feliz sped through Linterna Verde FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonas Feo. After 16 minutes of play, Linterna Verde FC's Anier Urdin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Ederono was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Lope in the 20th minute of play forced Linterna Verde FC's goalkeeper Jonas Feo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Feo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Lope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgencio Oliviero took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Feo. Jonas Feo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Jonas Feo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Feliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Narciso Feliz to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes AC Lalus got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Ponce. Anier Urdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Leopoldo Ederono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Lino Bilintx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd match minute, Linterna Verde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Presebal to maneuver through the defense. Anier Urdin hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. When Narciso Feliz came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the AC Lalus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Feliz couldn't finish the play. If Alfonso Tabby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Munio hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. AC Lalus played a much better game than Linterna Verde FC and deserved their victory. The Linterna Verde FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
