When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Charro made a kick off. The supporters of Deportivo Calingasta booed when Cañani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Estevez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Cañani's goalkeeper Faustino Txerran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Harun Esir. 57 minutes into the match, Cañani's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Charro came free, but Faustino Txerran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cañani's zone, Miltiadis Voutsas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Txerran came out of the goal and Miltiadis Voutsas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 played minutes Deportivo Calingasta got a freekick which was hit by Saul Araoz. Eliseo Botello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faustino Txerran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Harun Esir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Harun Esir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faustino Txerran was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cañani's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Deportivo Calingasta were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
