Nestor Gasteiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Baumar in the 7th minute of play. Tadeo Ermano scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nestor Gasteiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Cordarrol in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Gasteiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the match, La Ballenera's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Baumar came free, but Nestor Gasteiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Gasteiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Cordarrol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Karlo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Evelio Barrionuevo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Gasteiz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolando Artizar during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to La Ballenera getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rolando Artizar hit a great ball. Rigoberto Jerardo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes, ⚔⚽takataka⚽⚔'s Tadeo Ermano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nestor Gasteiz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ⚔⚽takataka⚽⚔ reached it. After a rather tough play, ⚔⚽takataka⚽⚔'s Eusebio Ekain got a free kick in the 27th minute. Angelo Cordearo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Marcos Jakes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Cordearo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in ⚔⚽takataka⚽⚔'s zone, Mariano Montae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Jakes came out of the goal and Mariano Montae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of La Ballenera booed when ⚔⚽takataka⚽⚔ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Atauri didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Cordearo got free with Marcos Jakes in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Cordarrol to make the kick off. La Ballenera's Angelo Cordearo got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When La Ballenera's Mariano Montae in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ⚔⚽takataka⚽⚔'s goalie prevented a goal. Angelo Cordearo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Jakes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Tadeo Ermano charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeo Ermano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 minutes of play La Ballenera's Rolando Artizar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Nestor Gasteiz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Evelio Barrionuevo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rigoberto Jerardo during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rigoberto Jerardo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Nestor Gasteiz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tadeo Ermano. When the final whistle went the supporters of ⚔⚽takataka⚽⚔ were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant La Ballenera side.
