Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Apolo Polo started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Godfredo Acuña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, ⚔⚽takataka⚽⚔'s Marcos Jakes got control of the ball when Abel Tartalo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aureliano Chinto came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by ⚔⚽takataka⚽⚔'s Tadeo Ermano. But to his dismay, Tadeo Ermano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alfonso Cordarrol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliano Chinto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Gavino Eneto kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Alfonso Cordarrol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute Apolo Polo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Apolo Polo came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Paula AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Polo couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute Horacio Procopio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Chinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Paula AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Hilario Oinatz hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Tadeo Ermano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aureliano Chinto skillfully saved the ball. Abel Tartalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Marcos Jakes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Apolo Polo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godfredo Acuña was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for ⚔⚽takataka⚽⚔. Tadeo Ermano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aureliano Chinto. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfonso Cordarrol made a kick off. Abel Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Jakes having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, ⚔⚽takataka⚽⚔'s goal looked a bit too open when Abel Tartalo came free, but Marcos Jakes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliano Chinto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Horacio Procopio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 60 minute of play. Evelio Barrionuevo's late challenge caught a Paula AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Barrionuevo helped the player get up and apologised. Marcos Jakes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Tartalo in the 64th minute of the match. Anibal Pedroso's late challenge caught a ⚔⚽takataka⚽⚔'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anibal Pedroso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Paula AFC's Anibal Pedroso got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Marcos Jakes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Tartalo in the 77th minute of the match. Abel Tartalo struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Marcos Jakes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paula AFC. The supporters of Paula AFC booed when ⚔⚽takataka⚽⚔ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Llope didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Tartalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Tartalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Marcos Jakes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ⚔⚽takataka⚽⚔ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ⚔⚽takataka⚽⚔ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
