With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tzvetomir Gruykin in the 88th managed to get into a good position. In the 93rd minute, Newell´s's Tzvetomir Gruykin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tzvetan Marvakov. Tzvetan Marvakov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-13. The defensa argentina fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Newell´s were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
