Nestor Gasteiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Ebardo in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of La Ballenera booed when San miguel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Gasteiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Francisco Suero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Montae in the 34th minute of play. La Ballenera's Nestor Gasteiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Machado in the 37th minute of play. Francisco Orlin's late challenge caught a La Ballenera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Orlin helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes San miguel got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Orlin. 41 minutes into the match, Cirilo Ebardo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nestor Gasteiz, 3-0. After a rather tough play, San miguel's Anselmo Peyo got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cirilo Ebardo to strike the kick off in the second half. La Ballenera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Constantino Machado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When the referee ended the match the San miguel players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
