Aureliano Chinto came out of the goal and Cirilo Ebardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aureliano Chinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Ebardo in the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Paula AFC's goalkeeper Aureliano Chinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jose Demario. Francisco Suero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Polo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paula AFC's Aureliano Chinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Ebardo in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Abel Tartalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 minutes, Anibal Pedroso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paula AFC and the San miguel players grew even worse after the yellow card. San miguel's Clemente Cebrian was substituted for Constantino Machado. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cirilo Ebardo was the one to do the kick off. In the 61stth minute of the game Apolo Polo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San miguel's Francisco Suero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Godofredo Cerilo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aureliano Chinto having to make a save. In the 101st minute Apolo Polo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Suero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
