Aureliano Chinto came out of the goal and Rogelio Furman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Rogelio Furman sped through Paula AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aureliano Chinto. Emiliano Daunte scored 5-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aureliano Chinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
