Las Pulguitas Rugby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Arce was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. 28 minutes into the match, Barni Lattapiat notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Las Pulguitas Rugby's Generoso Freire. Generoso Freire was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Generoso Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barni Lattapiat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Arce in the 33rd minute of play forced Las Pulguitas Rugby's goalkeeper Generoso Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerardo Claude to strike the kick off in the second half. Barni Lattapiat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Generoso Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Generoso Freire made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilfredo Arce in the 54th minute. Generoso Freire was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Ubaldo Paulin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ubaldo Paulin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Arce in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Generoso Freire saved Las Pulguitas Rugby from getting behind. Generoso Freire made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Wilfredo Arce sent off a good shot on target. Generoso Freire stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilfredo Arce's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Las Pulguitas Rugby's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Ubaldo Paulin scored to the left of an out of position Generoso Freire, making the score, 0-15. Ubaldo Paulin spun around in front of the goal 85 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Las Pulguitas Rugby's goal. 87 minutes into the match, El Inter's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Berriotxoa came free, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Las Pulguitas Rugby getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Bruno Sanchez hit a great ball. Wilfredo Arce took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Generoso Freire. Generoso Freire dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-16. Las Pulguitas Rugby's Generoso Freire proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Las Pulguitas Rugby from getting a goal against them.
