An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Arce in the 22nd minute of play forced Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Wang Yi Zhen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Arce in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wang Yi Zhen saved Club Deportivo Español from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilfredo Arce in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wang Yi Zhen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wang Yi Zhen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 39 minutes into the match, El Inter's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Kirschbaum came free, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Kirschbaums short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Wang Yi Zhen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barni Lattapiat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilfredo Arce made a kick off. José Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wang Yi Zhen having to interfere. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Kirschbaum in the 55th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barni Lattapiat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wang Yi Zhen having to interfere. Ignacio Lon hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
