Ceferino Abreu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ceferino Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Formaggio, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Cristiano Formaggio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ceferino Abreu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Pawel Pasterski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Fernendo in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 51st minute of the match, Fortunato Calcio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ceferino Abreu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gabriel Bernad's late challenge caught a Cosquín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Bernad helped the player get up and apologised. Cristiano Formaggio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ceferino Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, LOS GRANATES F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Fortunato Calcio came free, but Ceferino Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
