Eulalio Galeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute Carmelo Fernendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Unax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clodoveo Cordearo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Unax having to interfere. A collision led to LOS GRANATES F.C getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Filomeno Kemen hit a great ball. Clodoveo Cordearo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Ciro Unax made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Fabricio Leheren got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ceferino Abreu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eulalio Galeno's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 30th match minute, LOS GRANATES F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Bertin to maneuver through the defense. After 31 played minutes LOS GRANATES F.C got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Kemen. LOS GRANATES F.C's Ceferino Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Galeno in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind LOS GRANATES F.C's goalkeeper Ceferino Abreu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eulalio Galeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Abreu having to interfere. Ceferino Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Nayely in the 48th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eriberto Nayely made a kick off. LOS GRANATES F.C were furious when Venancio Bertin was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Ceferino Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Nayely in the 65th minute of play. Eriberto Nayely fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Abreu having to interfere. Fabricio Leheren charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabricio Leheren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Fabricio Leheren got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Eriberto Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the match, Eulalio Galeno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ceferino Abreu. LOS GRANATES F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eulalio Galeno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Eriberto Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ceferino Abreu was a little too slow when Eriberto Nayely got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 90th minute, Eulalio Galeno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Eulalio Galeno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Ceferino Abreu made a huge save. Ceferino Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Nayely in the 97th minute of play. Independiente played a much better game than LOS GRANATES F.C and deserved their victory. The LOS GRANATES F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
