When Pocho Peron fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Furia Calchaquí FC's protests and gave Pocho Peron a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Furia Calchaquí FC got a freekick which was hit by Pocho Peron. Carmelo Fernendo's shot from long distance in the 3rd minute was not bad at all, but Furia Calchaquí FC's Leon Mouzo knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Constantino Mikolas hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The long shot by Carmelo Fernendo in the 8th minute really tested Leon Mouzo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Iker Tonio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ceferino Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Mouzo made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Danilo Cuartio sent off a good shot on target. Danilo Cuartio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Leon Mouzo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Carmelo Fernendo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leon Mouzo came out and tried to block the shot, but Carmelo Fernendo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. In the 23rd minute, Carmelo Fernendo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOS GRANATES F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, LOS GRANATES F.C's Danilo Cuartio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Mouzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leon Mouzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Montxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Furia Calchaquí FC's Radomir Kornaszewski got a free kick in the 29th minute. Leon Mouzo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carmelo Fernendo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladislao Senen got free with Leon Mouzo in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 37 minutes, Radomir Kornaszewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Furia Calchaquí FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radomir Kornaszewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Radomir Kornaszewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Mouzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Fernendo in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Danilo Cuartio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leon Mouzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Fernendo in the 51st minute of play. Radomir Kornaszewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ceferino Abreu having to make a save. If Danilo Cuartio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Furia Calchaquí FC's Leon Mouzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Cuartio in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Furia Calchaquí FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Mikolas to maneuver through the defense. After 67 played minutes LOS GRANATES F.C got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Cuartio. After a rather tough play, LOS GRANATES F.C's Filomeno Kemen got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Leon Mouzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Fernendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the Furia Calchaquí FC defense, Carmelo Fernendo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Mouzo. The Furia Calchaquí FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Mouzo should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the game, LOS GRANATES F.C's Carmelo Fernendo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon Mouzo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Radomir Kornaszewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Mouzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Fernendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The LOS GRANATES F.C players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
