Venancio Tallia in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guillermo Felo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Venancio Tallia put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Guillermo Felo. If Venancio Tallia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernal's Guillermo Felo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Izel in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Venancio Tallia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brugo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 40 minutes into the game, Brugo FC's Venancio Tallia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guillermo Felo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 43rd minute, Hugo Enekoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venancio Tallia had several of the Bernal's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 44 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-0 score and a disappointed Guillermo Felo as he didn't even see the shot coming. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Venancio Tallia to strike the kick off in the second half. When Hugo Enekoitz fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bernal's protests and gave Hugo Enekoitz a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Bernal got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Enekoitz. After 58 played minutes, Brugo FC's David Rami shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guillermo Felo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brugo FC reached it. Apolo Laurin hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Venancio Tallia in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillermo Felo saved Bernal from getting behind. Roman Izel hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Arnulfo Pietro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Brugo FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Siro Tohias hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Venancio Tallia sped through Bernal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guillermo Felo. Leopoldo Tauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Felo having to interfere. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Venancio Tallia sped through Bernal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guillermo Felo.
