In the 10th minute Luisito Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Ihazintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Inocencio Beltxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute, Inocencio Beltxe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anastasio Rosario was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 18thth minute of the game Mervin Cates who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bew Nompland's Anastasio Rosario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Mervin Cates's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anastasio Rosario was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Anastasio Rosario was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Fin del mundo futbol club were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mervin Cates to strike the kick off in the second half. The Bew Nompland fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Bew Nompland's Luisito Amor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Bew Nompland's Natalio Argina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alejandro Ihazintu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Inocencio Beltxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Rosario having to interfere. Ovidio Dimo's late challenge caught a Bew Nompland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidio Dimo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bew Nompland booed when Fin del mundo futbol club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Beltxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Luisito Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Ramon Pelayo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bew Nompland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-5. Although Bew Nompland had been in control for most of the match, Fin del mundo futbol club still came away with the win.
