Worthy Web Design's Marcelo-Luis de Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Gaztea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Liberto in the 30th minute of play. Leopoldo Gaztea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Marin, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After some careless play in the Worthy Web Design defense, Anier Kimetz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Bastiaro. The Worthy Web Design fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Bastiaro should have stopped the shot. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
