The Maravilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severo Bonifaco should have stopped the shot. Alex Landfred took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frans Zwartkruis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severo Bonifaco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Eneko in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute FERRO SALTA were awarded a corner. Vince Rush went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FERRO SALTA's Vince Rush to fire away a dangerous shot which Severo Bonifaco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With an all-out effort, Maravilla's Alex Landfred threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Frans Zwartkruis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. FERRO SALTA's Alex Landfred proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save FERRO SALTA from getting a goal against them.
