Spectators: 7541 (Terracing: 5657, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Quilo Lujarra kicked off to start the match. Baldomiro Restu came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo 11's Quilo Lujarra. But to his dismay, Quilo Lujarra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Claudio Bucciarelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo 11's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Zayas came free, but Aurelio Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Bucciarelli in the 12th minute of play forced Union de Sta Fe's goalkeeper Baldomiro Restu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Leonardo Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Hernan Castellano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Betadur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 minutes Union de Sta Fe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Betadur who took care of the corner kick. With 21 minutes on the clock, Cayetano James commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Union de Sta Fe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of San Lorenzo 11:s goal. The referee gave San Lorenzo 11 a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Quilo Lujarra, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Union de Sta Fe's Baldomiro Restu. 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Zayas during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute, Diego Zayas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Union de Sta Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Bucciarelli came free, but Baldomiro Restu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Union de Sta Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Procopio to maneuver through the defense. Union de Sta Fe's Baldomiro Restu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Bucciarelli in the 31st minute of play. 31 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when San Lorenzo 11's Claudio Bucciarelli fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Baldomiro Restu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quilo Lujarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quilo Lujarra in the 35th minute of play forced Union de Sta Fe's goalkeeper Baldomiro Restu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Hudson Abreu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomiro Restu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Quilo Lujarra kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, San Lorenzo 11 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Rainerio to maneuver through the defense. After the first half San Lorenzo 11 were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Zayas was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Union de Sta Fe's goalkeeper Baldomiro Restu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quilo Lujarra. In the 57th minute of the match San Lorenzo 11 got a corner. Union de Sta Fe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Martin Betadur ran over to the corner to take the kick. San Lorenzo 11's Martin Betadur was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Baldomiro Restu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Quilo Lujarra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Baldomiro Restu made a huge save. Baldomiro Restu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Bucciarelli in the 64th minute of the match. When Claudio Bucciarelli came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the San Lorenzo 11 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Bucciarelli couldn't finish the play. In the 71st match minute, San Lorenzo 11 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quilo Lujarra to maneuver through the defense. San Lorenzo 11's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martin Betadur in the 75th minute. The corner led to San Lorenzo 11's Gerardo Rainerio getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quilo Lujarra in the 77th minute of play forced Union de Sta Fe's goalkeeper Baldomiro Restu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hudson Abreu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baldomiro Restu came out and tried to block the shot, but Hudson Abreu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 79th minute. Union de Sta Fe's Baldomiro Restu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Union de Sta Fe from getting a goal against them. Martin Betadur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Baldomiro Restu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, San Lorenzo 11 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Bucciarelli to maneuver through the defense. San Lorenzo 11 were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Union de Sta Fe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martin Betadur took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Santiago Sayvion managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The Union de Sta Fe fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. San Lorenzo 11 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
