Teodosio Lop might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Teyo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodosio Lop ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Lop in the 10th minute of play forced Anisacate FC's goalkeeper Mauro Teyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Teodosio Lop ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Teyo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Herminio Cresconio struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Mauro Teyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Zabaleta. In the 19th minute Teodosio Lop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Teyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Anisacate FC! The referee gave La Zabaleta a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. Mauro Teyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Cresconio in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Mazinho Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Urbano Txartiko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anisacate FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Urbano Txartiko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Guib breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mauro Teyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Cresconio in the 31st minute of the match. After 33 minutes of play, La Zabaleta's Teodosio Lop made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro Teyo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Anisacate FC defense, Teodosio Lop kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauro Teyo. The Anisacate FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro Teyo should have stopped the shot. Mauro Teyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Lop, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Albin Ånger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Teyo having to interfere. When Teodosio Lop came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the La Zabaleta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodosio Lop couldn't finish the play. Mauro Teyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Ånger in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Teodosio Lop cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Mauro Teyo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paolo Esquipula to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as La Zabaleta's Teodosio Lop slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mauro Teyo. That made the score 0-7 after 53 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Herminio Cresconio took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Mauro Teyo to make any attempt to save it. Teodosio Lop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albin Ånger struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Albin Ånger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Mauro Teyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Zabaleta made a substitution. In the 98th minute, Herminio Cresconio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Zabaleta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-12. When the match was over La Zabaleta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Anisacate FC throughout the match.
