In the 19th minute of the match Jose Sand FC got a corner. YARARA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bernabe Jordy ran over to the corner to take the kick. Elias Leocadio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Gaspar Totakoxe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Jose Sand FC's Severino Vieira in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Elias Leocadio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Elias Leocadio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 31 played minutes Jose Sand FC got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Oso. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Domingues in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uriel Mateus saved Jose Sand FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Leocadio got free with Gaspar Totakoxe in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, YARARA's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Leocadio came free, but Gaspar Totakoxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42ndth minute of the game Lino Domingues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jose Sand FC's Uriel Mateus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th minute, Jose Sand FC's Elias Leocadio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience was convinced that Elias Leocadio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Totakoxe was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After some careless play in the YARARA defense, Elias Leocadio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Totakoxe. The YARARA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Totakoxe should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Leocadio in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaspar Totakoxe saved YARARA from getting behind. With a little luck, Jose Sand FC's Uriel Mateus got control of the ball when Albano Edorta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Uriel Mateus made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Cipriano Naldo sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the YARARA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jose Sand FC.
