The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 24th minute, Hernan Iraunkor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes Xene Fc got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Martinez. In the 30th match minute, Xene Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Silviano to maneuver through the defense. Niceto Sabino kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Romeo Hernandez scored 0-5 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Marz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Xene Fc's Rabah Khaldi got a free kick in the 68th minute. Edgardo Marz was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Robustiano Hats capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Robustiano Hats really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Edgardo Marz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. After a defensive mix-up in Xene Fc's zone, Fulgencio Isidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Marz came out of the goal and Fulgencio Isidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Xene Fc! The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Libertad got free with Edgardo Marz in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgardo Marz came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Durazno FC's Romeo Hernandez. But to his dismay, Romeo Hernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. After having played for 96 minutes, Robustiano Hats managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Durazno FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robustiano Hats was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Durazno FC's Robustiano Hats slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edgardo Marz. That made the score 0-10 after 98 minutes of play. Durazno FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
