In the 2nd match minute, Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Garrido to maneuver through the defense. Feliberto Harriet was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Mateo Lauaxeta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mateo Lauaxeta really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 8 minutes of play, CARPINCHO FC's Mateo Lauaxeta made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliberto Harriet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anselmo Veronica hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Diego Pueblo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of CARPINCHO FC booed when Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Urtsin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Diego Pueblo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Feliberto Harriet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristián Cuenca in the 19th minute of play. In the 28th minute, CARPINCHO FC's Severo Jaen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Feliberto Harriet. Feliberto Harriet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Leandro Garrido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xerardo Gasso having to interfere. With a little luck, Lions's Feliberto Harriet got control of the ball when Mateo Lauaxeta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristián Cuenca kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Feliberto Harriet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Jaen in the 44th minute of play. Lions were furious when Baldomero Aimar was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lions! Cristián Cuenca walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leandro Garrido made a kick off. The supporters of CARPINCHO FC booed when Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nivaldo Seixas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliberto Harriet came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by CARPINCHO FC's Mateo Lauaxeta. But to his dismay, Mateo Lauaxeta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 61 minutes into the match, Mateo Lauaxeta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliberto Harriet. Lions's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateo Lauaxeta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Nivaldo Seixas kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Severo Jaen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliberto Harriet was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Lauaxeta came free, but Feliberto Harriet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes of play, CARPINCHO FC's Mateo Lauaxeta made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliberto Harriet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Feliberto Harriet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateo Lauaxeta went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. When Leandro Garrido came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Lions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Garrido couldn't finish the play. Ermegildo Urtsin kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Lauaxeta in the 87th minute of play forced Lions's goalkeeper Feliberto Harriet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Lauaxeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Harriet having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, CARPINCHO FC's Mateo Lauaxeta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliberto Harriet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. 94 minutes into the match, Cristián Cuenca notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Lions's Feliberto Harriet. Feliberto Harriet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
