In the 13th minute, Gustavo Costas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fidel Mannie was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, GERLI S.A's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Hotz came free, but Fidel Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nunez Jakobe hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Fidel Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Conrao in the 19th minute of the match. Fidel Mannie came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Belgrano CBA's Justo Rolado. But to his dismay, Justo Rolado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 25th match minute, Belgrano CBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszek Walicki to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of GERLI S.A booed when Belgrano CBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Conrao didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 played minutes GERLI S.A got a freekick which was hit by Mario Diegotxe. Gustavo Costas hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Justo Rolado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Maximino Iraido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute Gustavo Costas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Dario Bartuelo put in a rough tackle. In the 44th minute, one of GERLI S.A:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GERLI S.A. After the first half Belgrano CBA were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urbano Cordarius to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, GERLI S.A's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Hotz came free, but Fidel Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GERLI S.A's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Gustavo Costas scored to the left of an out of position Fidel Mannie, making the score, 0-6. In the 65th minute Melquiades Hotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fidel Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Conrao in the 67th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Ceferino Conrao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fidel Mannie. GERLI S.A's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ceferino Conrao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melquiades Hotz in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Mannie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximino Iraido got free with Fidel Mannie in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Augusto Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Cordarius in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, GERLI S.A's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Hotz came free, but Fidel Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, GERLI S.A's Urbano Cordarius got a free kick in the 84th minute. 88 minutes into the match, GERLI S.A's goalkeeper Fidel Mannie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justo Rolado. In the 90th minute, Belgrano CBA's Justo Rolado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fidel Mannie. Fidel Mannie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Fidel Mannie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Iraido, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th match minute, GERLI S.A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Cordarius to maneuver through the defense.
