Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Lions's Diego Pueblo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Jimeno Medina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliberto Harriet was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 6th minute, Valentin Pere made a precise shot to the right of Feliberto Harriet. Lions's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 8th minute Hilario Montae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Harriet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Jimeno Medina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Punteros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Sonny Estes kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Feliberto Harriet came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Punteros's Valentin Pere. But to his dismay, Valentin Pere quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Hilario Montae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Feliberto Harriet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lions's zone, Hilario Montae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Harriet came out of the goal and Hilario Montae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Ondino came free, but Feliberto Harriet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Harriet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Medina in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Valentin Pere had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliberto Harriet. Lions's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Pere was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Feliberto Harriet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Pere in the 33rd minute of the match. Lions's Feliberto Harriet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Pere in the 35th minute of play. After 37th play minutes Hilario Montae shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Feliberto Harriet and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Los Punteros booed when Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nivaldo Seixas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Aimar to maneuver through the defense. The Lions players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Punteros were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimeno Medina to make the kick off. Feliberto Harriet made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Hilario Montae sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Lions getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Sonny Estes hit a great ball. Lions's Feliberto Harriet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Montae in the 60th minute of play. Jimeno Medina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Feliberto Harriet made a huge save. Diego Pueblo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesus Tipi having to make a save. Feliberto Harriet made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Jimeno Medina sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 71 in the game by Jimeno Medina from a close distance when the talented Feliberto Harriet managed to make a qualified save. Lions's players were relieved. In the 72nd minute, 郑文霖 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 73 minutes, Jimeno Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Punteros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Medina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, Anibal Pacorro made a precise shot to the right of Feliberto Harriet. Lions's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Anibal Pacorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Harriet having to interfere. A collision led to Los Punteros getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jimeno Medina hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the game, Los Punteros's Jimeno Medina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliberto Harriet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. In the 86th minute, Hilario Montae made a precise shot to the right of Feliberto Harriet. Lions's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Jesus Tipi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny Estes in the 90th minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match, Jimeno Medina got a very nice opportunity to score, but Feliberto Harriet was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Los Punteros's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
