Sergio Loi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Efe Bircan having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Guillermo Sayveon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Arnoldo Fix's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Efe Bircan was relentless in the 77th minute of the game.
