FORTALESE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Ekain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 36 played minutes Independent Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Tavio. After 40 played minutes FORTALESE got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Ferman. Camilo Richie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Tavio in the 43rd minute of the match. When Melchor Oso fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FORTALESE's protests and gave Melchor Oso a yellow card for diving instead. Camilo Richie was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Natalio Inocente showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 78 minute of play. Maximo Ekain hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FORTALESE's Freddy Bibiano got a free kick in the 84th minute.
