After the first half Old School FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Florencio Castulo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Florentino Jaen made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Colon de Sta Fe's Adolfo Fidalgo got a free kick in the 80th minute. Old School FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Old School FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
