Jonatan Licerio made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Jacq Van Haerschot sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natalio Errando during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Independent Football Club booed when Viña AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Errando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viña AFC's Felipe Fagildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Tavio in the 10th minute of play. Eliseo Urbasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Jonatan Licerio made a huge save. 1-0 became the score in the 15th minute when Cristos Contreras elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jonatan Licerio was a little too slow when Jeremias Lope got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 24thth minute of the game Angelino Tavio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viña AFC's Felipe Fagildo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Inocente in the 26th minute of play forced Viña AFC's goalkeeper Felipe Fagildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natalio Inocente in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipe Fagildo saved Viña AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristos Contreras in the 30th minute of play forced Independent Football Club's goalkeeper Jonatan Licerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diderik Schenning hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the game, Cristos Contreras recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonatan Licerio. Cristos Contreras showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Lope in the 40th minute of play forced Independent Football Club's goalkeeper Jonatan Licerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes, Jairo Estavan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independent Football Club and the Viña AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Jairo Estavan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute of the match Jeremias Lope sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonatan Licerio skillfully saved the ball. After 42 played minutes Independent Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Sabin. Jonatan Licerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseo Urbasa in the 43rd minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Natalio Inocente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viña AFC's Felipe Fagildo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natalio Inocente in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Fagildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristos Contreras to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonatan Licerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Urbasa in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Viña AFC's Cristos Contreras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonatan Licerio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felipe Fagildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Inocente in the 56th minute of the match. If Jairo Estavan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristos Contreras during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Viña AFC's Cristos Contreras got a free kick in the 59th minute. Diderik Schenning could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Felipe Fagildo made a huge save. Jonatan Licerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacq Van Haerschot in the 62nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Natalio Inocente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felipe Fagildo was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. During the 66th minute of the match Natalio Errando completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Natalio Errando a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 66th match minute, Viña AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Errando to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Licerio hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Natalio Inocente struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Felipe Fagildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independent Football Club. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Tavio in the 71st minute of play forced Viña AFC's goalkeeper Felipe Fagildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Fagildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Tavio in the 73rd minute of the match. Independent Football Club's Jonatan Licerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Lope in the 78th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Angelino Tavio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Fagildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Licerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Urbasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Eduardo Hustaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viña AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Independent Football Club for a fine match.
